John Donaldson

Fred Donaldson is the Head Tennis Professional at The Club at Neptune Cove. He is originally from South Africa, and he spent much of his youth in Australia. Fred’s college years were spent at the University of Miami, and then at South West Texas University. He had a stellar tennis playing career in his youth and was one of the top junior players in Australia. In addition, he was a collegiate national singles champion, an All-American and he played on the #2 college tennis team in the nation at the University of Miami. He also played on the ATP Challenger and Satellite Circuits, earning world rankings in singles and doubles. In recent years he has devoted time to local senior doubles tournaments. He won the Florida State Open Senior Doubles Championship 3 times, twice with partner Larry Tyson, the Assistant Tennis Professional at The Club at Neptune Cove.
